Changes between 07/11/26 - 07/24/26

Summary

This release introduces Team Registration alongside the existing Solo and Partnered entry types, letting Studio Accounts sign up teams for formations and team matches, with organizers able to view, and delete team entries. Deck Captain gets a full competition Schedule view (Rounds and Flights that can now run simultaneously) with the ability to check in or scratch Flight Entries, and those changes now sync to Emcee in real time. Athlete and Studio dashboards now surface Solo and Team entries alongside Partnered ones, the landing page was redesigned, and a number of registration bugs were fixed.

System

Athlete

Dashboard

  • Fixed an issue where TBA entries were not listed if the athlete had no other entry in the competition.
  • Solo and Team entries are now included in the dashboard.

Registration

  • Athletes can sign up for Solo Entry events.
  • Fixed a bug where selecting "Enter as TBA" did not clear the selected partnership.

Organizer

Event Management

  • Organizers can create Solo-only or Team-only events; the Entry Type cannot be changed once the event is created.
  • Added an Event Status Badge showing whether an event is Created, Queued, In Progress, Completed, or Canceled.

Solo Registration

  • Solo Entry is for dancers competing without a partner.
  • Organizers can view Solo entries.

Team Registration

  • Team Registration supports both team matches and formations.
  • Organizers can view teams and team members of a Team event.
  • Organizers can delete team entries.
  • An athlete's Team entry is now included in their Athlete Detail view.

Deck Captain

  • The Deck Captain view now lists the competition's full Schedule instead of only Rounds. Each Schedule Item can contain multiple Rounds or Flights scheduled to run simultaneously.
  • Deck Captain can check in or scratch Flight Entries.

Studio Account

  • A Studio Account's affiliation is automatically copied to managed Athletes upon creation.
  • Dashboard now includes Solo, Partnered, and Team entries.

Registration

  • Studio Account can select managed Athletes to sign up for Solo Entry events at a competition.
  • Team Entry is now supported and can only be created via a Studio Account, for both team matches and formations.
  • Studio Account can sign up multiple teams for the same event.
  • Team members can be added or dropped after registration is submitted.
